Steve Harwell was an American singer and musician, best known as the former lead vocalist and frontman for the rock band Smash Mouth.

Harwell was born in Santa Clara, California, in 1967. He began his musical career as a rapper in the group F.O.S. In 1994, he joined Smash Mouth, which quickly became one of the most popular rock bands of the 1990s.
